| MINERALS |
Everything on Earth contains minerals, of one form or the other. That includes you and me. In fact our physical being is basically a container of water with some minerals thrown in.
To undertake, in a web site page, to discuss minerals in depth, much less to try to list all known minerals or their properties, specific density, hardness, morphs, uses, characteristics, dangers and other specifics, would be ludicrous.
Therefore, we will discuss some generalities about minerals, basically for lay persons, not for geologists, mineralogists and other scientists AND we will have some links to pages of minerals from the PROCTOR MUSEUM of NATURAL SCIENCE.
The following is a list of pages, on this
website, linked to this page, where you may
find information on definitions you may wish
to look up, gems & gemstones, specific
minerals, tectonic plates, volcanoes, and
others.
Just click on your selection to go to that
page.
