Field Trips & Expeditions (planning trips to collect gems, minerals, rocks and fossils; photo opportunities; bird watching; serious expeditions; etc.)
Botanical Garden (working on the creation of a Botanical Garden & Arboretum; doing landscaping; tree planting programs; beautification of the North Channel Area, Baytown Area & Northeast Harris County)
Museum Associate Curator (Collecting, identifying and working on displays for the Museum; research and preparation of the displays including identification of specimens; other curator work; etc.)
Trails establishment & maintenance (Obtaining land for nature, bird watching sites, bicycle & jogging trails; building trails and sites; maintaining the trails and sites; preparation of identification plates for trees and shrubs; publicizing the trails; etc.)
Environmental (Working to improve the environment and make the public conscious of recycling; of need for clean air and clean water; wise use of the land; energy conservation; composting; reduction of use of non-renewable materials; etc.)
Publications (Creation of publications for the membership and general public on science, environment, trips and expeditions, natural history and other related areas and items)
Library (Working toward creation of a Scientific Technical Research Library in the North Channel Area for use by the public and by scientific researchers; acquisition of books & materials; acquisition of a site for the Library)
Public Relations (Doing public relations work for the Natural History Scientific not for profit Corporation; promote the work of the other sections)
Finance (Raise the funds for the operation of the "tax exempt" "Not for profit Corporation and its many programs)
Programs & Seminars (Provide the programs for meetings and special seminars on certain areas of natural science and things of interest to the membership)
Gem, Mineral & Paleo (For those interested in collecting gems & minerals; polishing gemstones & faceting; jewelry making; fossil hunting; etc.)
Web site maintenance and authorship of articles, photos and other.
